SCL Sterling Lynsol Denatured Alcohol is 190 proof denatured alcohol proprietary solvent meeting US Government Specifications and complies with existing air pollution control regulations. It is the purest ethyl alcohol to thin shellac, stain sealers or spirit varnishes.

Use as shellac thinner, cleaner for shellac brushes and tools and shellacked surfaces, epoxy and urethane finish prep cleaner before final recoat and printing press wash. Fuel for marine alcohol stoves and solid wick or absorbent reservoir chafing dishes. Burns with a clean unobjectionable odour and can be extinguished with water.
